RUCKSACK CLUB AGM on Wednesday 1 pie and peas supper for a cost of £4 which includes the first drink. Please put your name on the list in Church to order your supper. TRAIDCRAFT Support fair trade producers overseas by shopping at the Stall in Church.

WELCOME CENTRE There is a box at the back of church for donations of goods for the Welcome Centre. We are collecting the following items during January: Long life milk and tin openers. Thank you for your support.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH The new diary is on the notice board in Church. Please add your name to a date, particularly if it is a memorable occasion or a corporate communion for a Church organisation. Please pay Christine Wilson prior to your chosen date.

READING ROTA On Thursday 16th February in St. John's, an event for people from both churches who are on the reading rota or would like to be added to it. RADA trained Rev Roger Grainger will lead a training evening to help us bring the word of God to our congregations. All welcome.

BEER AND BANTER The next meeting is on Friday 3

WAKEFIELD DIOCESE WALKS THE PENNINE WAY In June 2012, Meg Willard from St. Martin's Brighouse is going to walk the Pennine Way to raise funds for the Water for Life project in Mara. Bishop Stephen and Bishop Tony have offered their support. Meg will be looking for help in the form of sponsorship, walkers to accompany her on short sections, car drivers to transport bags as well as offers of overnight accommodation. E-mail Meg at
